Description

Ridge tape

The ridge tape is used for tile roofing, especially for cement rosettes and ceramic tiles without overlaps that do not require high air permeability. It contains 2 strips of aluminium tape with a polypropylene fabric between them. Specially profiled edges of the tape allow it to be installed on any type of roof covering and are used for efficient drainage of rainwater. The butyl coating on the edges enables a permanent bond of the tape to the roof covering. The tape adheres to porous and smooth surfaces, but it should be noted that the surface to be bonded should be free of grease and dust.
