Photovoltaic tracker – back side

Photovoltaic tracker
TR/V1/R or TR/V1/K 1 Module Row
Energy5’s PV Tracker System is an innovative solution that effectively combines efficiency and reliability for on-site photovoltaic installations on pitched roofs with metal tiles. The single-axis, fully automated system tracks the sun, allowing for module installation in rows of up to 98 meters. With up to 30% higher yields compared to stationary PV structures, this solar tracker ensures optimal module alignment.
Key features of Energy5’s customized PV tracker include a slim design for cost-effective solutions, reduced components for easy installation, and a construction of black steel with a corrosion-resistant Magnelis® coating for durability. The system integrates an astronomical clock for control, intelligent sensors, and a weather station for measuring wind speed and direction. In adverse conditions, the tracker automatically positions the modules for increased safety. Additionally, the system is equipped with snow or rain sensors that initiate the automatic snow removal/cleaning mode for the modules when needed.
Solar Tracker – Key Information
Before investing in a photovoltaic module tracker, familiarize yourself with its essential aspects. The control is managed through an astronomical clock, intelligent sensors, and a weather station ensuring system safety. In case of critical values being exceeded, the system automatically moves the modules to a preferred safe position. Energy5’s tracking system also features snow or rain sensors. Upon detecting heavy precipitation, the PV trackers activate the automatic snow removal/cleaning mode, positioning the structure to clear snow or clean the modules.
Main Functions of the System:
- Solar Tracking System
- 3D Backtracking – Minimizing shading of rows
- Snow removal and module cleaning
- Emergency power supply system
- Additional feature: 24/7 monitoring app
Backtracking Function – Minimizing Shading of Rows
The 3D Backtracking algorithm calculates the tilt angle of the modules to prevent shading of subsequent rows. This function allows the modules to rotate into a position with shorter shadow projection, avoiding the next row and ensuring the highest efficiency of the tracking system.
